Troupe 35 is a proposed renovation of the old McDonogh 35 school property in the Tremé neighborhood of New Orleans. The collective offers a single location for children (starting as early as 4th grade) to embark on their musical path with continued programs as they grow. Through the combined efforts of The Roots of Music, Tipitina's Foundation, and the Orleans Parish School Board, the existing underutilized space will be transformed into a vibrant and highly functional music education and career resource complex for both young and aspiring musicians alike.
